When adding applicants to the platform you may wish to chose to add applicants individually. However, we have also enabled you to add applicants to the platform in bulk which can save you a significant amount of time.
Step by Step Guide
Invite Applicants Individually
If you are adding applicants to the platform as and when they apply you may find that it's easier to add them individually. You can do this by simply selecting on add applicants.
The next step is to populate the fields, attaching their CV if you wish to do so. You can then select on "add another" if you have more applicants to invite or select "done".
Applicant has not yet been invited as per their status - to invite the applicants simply select on "invite". You may wish to wait till the application date closes or simply invite them to the platform immediately. Either way, all applicants will get an equal amount of time to complete their video interview.
A pop-up will appear - this is the email the applicant will receive once you hit the "send invitation" button.
Invite Applicants in Bulk
If you have quite a few applicants to invite you may wish to invite these applicants in bulk by simply selecting on "import CSV".
Simply copy and paste candidates email from your document, no need to worry about the alignment as Shortlisteorganiseses all this data for you once you select "import".
As you can see in the image below, Shortlister has organised all the data for you, all there is left to do now is give each column the correct field name. Once you're done select on "add applicants"
All the applicants have been added to the platform however, they have not yet been invited. To send the invites, please select "invite".
A pop-up will appear - you can view all the candidates who you have added and a preview of the invitation email. Now select the "send invitation" button.
The applicants have been invited as their status is "awaiting response". When hovering over the applicants' name, you will be able to view their deadline date.
Invite Applicants without adding them to the platform
If you want to attract more interest in the role and have applicants put themselves forward to the interview you may simply post the job public URL to the job advert and applicants will be able to invite themselves to platform to pitch themselves to your organisation.
You can do this by selecting the invite button or by selecting on Public URL as shown below and copy the job URL.
