Welcome Video
The welcome video is the first video your applicants will see as they enter into the interview lobby.
It's used to welcome the applicant into the process and to put them at ease

A video interview…probably not completed many of these before, right?
Well, the good news is, we’re here to help.
Firstly, you choose where, and when you want to complete this interview - just make sure you submit it before the deadline.
It’s really straightforward, plus we give you the opportunity to complete practice interviews beforehand so you can familiarise yourself with the process out of sight of the hiring company.
We’re going to give you some tips on how to prepare but before we do let's explain how the interview works…
You are going to be asked a number of interview questions
Before starting your answer, we give you some time to think
Once you’ve finished your answer, click the button to move onto the next question
Sound scary...of course, it does, its an interview - but one that we help you prepare for, so if you haven’t already, head over to www.shortlist.me (shortlist dot me) and register for a practice interview.
Okay, so here are our tips to help you come across at your best…
Take. Your. Time...And please, remember to breathe! It’s not a race, nor is it a competition to see how much information can be crammed in.
Look into the camera when you feel comfortable...there’s no need to stare the entire time - that might look a little creepy!
Choose an appropriate background. For example, this may look great on a bedroom wall but isn’t great for an interview (show inappropriate background).
Being able to hear what you have to say is more important than anything else but it’d be nice if we could SEE you to, so try and make sure your face framed in the centre of the shot.
It’s a big ask we know, but try and throw in a smile every now and then, they go along way!
Now the technical stuff…
You’ll need to be on a stable internet connection to avoid ‘buffer face’, also try and keep your device stable otherwise we might think you’re stuck in an earthquake!
Last thing, make sure you won’t be disturbed.
Introduction Video
The introduction video is the last video the applicants will see before starting the interview.
It’s used to introduce the interviewer (if applicable) and advise what’s going to happen when the interview starts and to wish the applicants good luck.

You see, we’re all human - so just relax. (phone ringing/face out of shot blooper)
You’ve made it to this stage of the interview process because we’ve seen potential in you.
So here’s how the process works…
Once you hit ‘Start Interview’ we’ll begin by asking you the first of the interview questions.
After the question has been asked, wait for the countdown to expire before you start answering.
There’ll be plenty of time to answer each question.
The time that you have remaining will be illustrated on-screen.
If you finish your answer before the time is up, simply use the ‘I’ve finished answering’ button to move on to the next question.
We’ll see you on the other side.
OUTRO SCRIPT
And relax!
Well done on completing the interview, we appreciate you taking the time to interview with us.
This is now with our team and will be reviewed. We will let you know of the outcome.
